Review of The Employee Millionaire - Personal Workbook
The Employee Millionaire by H.J.Chammas is a workbook on how to become a millionaire while doing your 9 to 5 job. The book starts off by telling you some basic things that you have to look into your life before starting you real-estate business journey. Things like cash flow, balance sheet, good debt, bad debt, etc. These are some real basic things and if you've studied economics or accounting you'll be well aware with all these terms. And if you didn't then don't worry cause the author has explained all those things briefly.
Then he takes you through all the KPIs. KPI (Key Performance Indicators) allows you to examine the key areas of finance such as income profile, expenses profile, net cash flow, assets profile, liabilities profile, etc. He explains all of them briefly and tells you the advantages and disadvantages of all these. What is earned income, what is unearned income, how you should use your income to increase it more and more. All these things are answered in this book. And if you don't know anything about accounting or economics or even taxes, this book will be a good choice for you. He tells us how to get rich with the least amount of money that you have to give out from your pocket. It's not like you shouldn't work to earn money, it's about how you can earn more money through the money you're already making and live a good life.
The things that I liked about this book is that it has explained everything in detail. You don't have to google anything to know it meaning or to better understand that topic in my opinion. But I'm a commerce student so it was pretty easy for me to understand different things, but then again I learned a lot of new things from this book. Things that I think will help me achieve something big in life. And the fact that it didn't have any grammatical mistakes was the cherry on top.
The thing that I didn't like is also the same, the author explaining everything in detail. I mean it's good for people who don't know anything about economics or accounting, but there were many topics that I've already studied in my school so it felt kind of boring. Rest everything was good.
I would rate this book 4 out of 4 stars as it didn't have any grammatical mistakes and it added value to my life. It's a great book about financing and real estate business, I must say.
I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to achieve something big in life. If you're working hard for your money then make the money work hard for you as well.
