In a world where magic lives and sustains life, the creator of the universe is on a mission to reconstruct and create a new universe and not for the first time. In The trials of Uwe I,II,III by Steven L. Masia, the process of turning all beings into demonkind or simply killing and harvesting their souls for a new universe by Evilore is faced with more resistance than he thought possible.
Uwe,the star of the story,is determined to protect his home at Hopen and the remaining worlds after losing his parents and dear friend to the Evilore. He journeys on a quest to find all the weapons necessary to destroy the spirit and soul of the Evilore because simply killing his body is not enough.
By passing difficult tests to acquire an armour and vital weapons, Uwe has to travel other worlds from his home of the wizards and seek help from dragons, dwarves, elves, fairies and other wizards. With his success he gains more allies and enemies who also want him to succeed for their own reasons. He must remain focused and choose his battles wisely because most battles won without blood require wits.
The Trials of Uwe I,II,III by Steven L. Masia is an adventure in itself. This book is not for non-believers in magic and mythical creatures but for the believers in good and evil forces in the world and fictional readers who would enjoy this book immensely. A book with little to no grammatical errors? With more than 350 pages? This is a glorious tale give enough attention. You want to find out why earth does not have magic? Want to know about fairies, dragons, dwarves, elves, wizards and demons, this is most likely your must-read fictional adventure.
I love the fact that even though Dedi, who is a power hungry fellow was easily deceived by his wife. Throughout Uwe's adventure, he is present as the new antagonist of the story after Evilore is physically killed. I feel like his wife, needs her own story too! She is a key player too if a bit shadowed.
Find songs from wizards, dwarves, even demons, and more when you enter other worlds with Uwe and even though the amount and mentions of female characters is lacking, which I really did not like, the romance tale of Uwe and his Amanill is worth the wait, where deception and enslavement is the start of your love story.

With little mentions of religious beliefs which I really liked, no profanity, just plain magic and power, I give this book a star rating of 4 out of 4.

Steven L. Masia is a genius and a vivid dreamer. In creating a whole new universe filled with lost races of magic explaining why he thinks they are lost and giving life a more exciting and diverse meaning. I was hooked on this work of fiction. It was worth my while and I believe it needs more than just 379 pages, I am looking forward to find out if there's more to the story. I hope you will too after reading this one!
