Review of Lead us to a place
This book by Andrew Pacholyk, MS, L.Ac is quite an interesting, inspiring and motivational read. The author touches almost every aspect of life throughout the book, from the connection of mind, body, and soul to some very interesting topics of love, life, and nature. The author has found a way of nudging the reader to want to learn more, to search for more, and to understand more about life itself through different modalities available to us in our lifetime on this planet. He touches the aspect of seasons and growth in nature but also in humans as natural and spiritual beings.
While reading Lead us to a Place I found myself with childlike excitement within me, like I’m opening a lucky packet with every new page that I read. All of the chapters in this book are wonderfully put together, from the introduction to the author and his mentors through his life so far, to the seasons and their unique individuality’s explained, and then ending the book by sharing his references and resources. I loved the opinion that we are moving with the seasons and should try to live in harmony with the seasons of nature as well as in life and personal seasons in how we eat, how we feel, and our ways of coping daily. I admire the way he helps to teach the reader different ways to use everything in a positive productive way.
From a religious, Christian background there are certain aspects in the book that I found questionable to my personal beliefs. But as someone keen for knowledge and understanding, as far as humanly possible, I found the author's knowledge exciting, and something inside me wanted to keep reading. I did not really dislike anything in the book overall, I believe that I do not necessarily need to agree with everything or use everything in my daily life. I will take with me the knowledge best suited for me as an individual out of the information shared by the author.
I am rating the book 4 out of 4 stars for the wonderful way of writing, the abundant different topics touched, and errors that were not found throughout the book. I think this book was well researched, written, and put together for the reader to enjoy.
I would not recommend this book; from a personal point of view; to a closed-minded individual. To truly enjoy the brilliance of this author, the reader I would recommend this book to are people with an open mind and the want and will to learn and delve deeper into life and spirituality, and the infinite world of possibilities that is out there for us to make use of. I’m saying this is because the author touches many different religions, cultures, and a very broad way of looking at the world.
