“Imagine you are mixing batter for a cake. After the first two or three stirs of the spatula, you decide you don’t want to make a cake, after all. You ask yourself: How do I “unstir” the ingredients, so I can return them to their original containers? It’s not easy. In fact, it’s virtually impossible.” Chet Shupe's words, not mine.

Human civilization has been destroying happiness for decades and we are constantly stuck in a rat race where we feel we have a free will, but the Question is: Do we really? My review is as complicated as this book. Hear me out, this book is about a spiritual awakening within. If only we believe in our emotions and let it control how we act and feel, then I assure you, there won't be any complexities left in life. Humanity itself is so tangled that we just don't understand what's fair. We do things based on what society needs us to do. A major reason that controls almost every action is what needs to be eliminated. Life is simple, and humans just don't like it. The book is all about human behavior, its patterns, how we act according to feelings and our subconscious mind; our dominant side is what stands out every time.

Rediscovering The Wisdom Of Human Nature. I would like to say that this book is mainly focused on being true to our emotions. How emotions control our life and how easy and loving our life would be if only we lived it based on how we feel rather than calculate every single step. Page 30 is the one where I started understanding a bit. If you're curious to know the secrets of human nature, this book is for you. Because if we people don’t have something in our lives that’s worth dying for, then we have nothing to live for. It’s as simple as that.

I am going to give this book 2 out of 4 stars. I felt that the book was weak in the areas of punctuation marks and grammar. The book didn't exceed my expectations. I lost track of concentration several times. There were moments when I just wanted to stop reading the book, but I didn't. So, I won't have to judge it as bad unnecessarily, yet I would not recommend someone to read it. It took too much effort and I still failed to understand the encrypted messages. I have to take a star for its level of complexity. This book could be in an easy language with little paragraphs so we don't lose interest. But due to the unusual count of words and errors on a single page, with long sentences, it made it so difficult for my inner will to continue reading it.

The biggest appeal for me is —it exposes the simple mistake that has forced mankind to live this way. It offers hope that humanity will soon rediscover the wisdom of human nature, and live by it, once again. We know we have feelings, but because we depend on legal systems to maintain order, we’ve never bothered to figure out why? Chet Shupe firmly believes that we can reclaim our natural way of life, if we become true to our feelings. My favorite line from the whole book that won my heart is — “To succeed in our world, we are taught to pursue objectives—not to honor the feelings evolution handed down to us.” I highly agree with the facts and that the concept of spiritual freedom is life-centric, not human-centric. I wish we all could understand how civilization destroyed happiness and start living for once, being true to who we are. Our future self will thank us.
