"Visiting Uncle John" is Frank Waltmire's interesting book of fiction. The story is about a 29 years old boy, named Eli. Eli is invited for dinner by his uncle John in a restaurant parking. But uncle John shoots and kills a man, named Garrett Brooks just before Eli arrives. Eli visits uncle John in prison over the following months and Learns a lot about himself and his fantastic uncle John.John Parker(Eli's uncle) also died in prison by lung cancer. The story deals with family secrets, Love and Life changes. Eli wants to know if his uncle John really kills a man or not, if yes, why? He wants to know overall about that night. John shoots Brooks to protect Eli because Brooks threatened Eli (Brooks Learns about Eli, one time chance encounter with his wife, Julia). Uncle John sentenced to prison two times, both were because of Brooks. Eli was a good reader and writer. He was a truck driver. But overall Eli's family were happy.

The describing technique of the book is very impressive. The author described the scenes in an amazing manner as shown as the scenes display before the eyes one by one. More than half of the book is written in the form of reported speech, so that it creates a live effect on the Reader's mind. The book is well designed and categorised in a proper way according to the visits in prison by Eli. Book has no any abusive or sexual harassment language. So, it can be read by all groups of people.

Generally, I think, the book has one issue, that is editing. It needs a second round of editing because it has many grammatical mistakes. Otherwise it has perfect for every aspect of the fiction. Well designed, well developed characters, exciting story, interesting way of storytelling, well designed plot, easy to understand, each aspect contains the book.

Generally, I will give the book a rating of 3 out of 4, because of grammatical and punctuation mistakes, if it had not been for the editing issue, I would have definitely given it a perfect rating. Except editing, it has no any issue with the book.

Finally, I highly recommended this book to those young people, who are interesting in exciting and fantastic story reading. But there is no any issue for the all age group people for reading the book as it is interesting and enjoyable story.
