Review of Angels Watching Over Me
[Following is a volunteer review of "Angels Watching Over Me" by Pam Ware & Linda Dipman.]
"Angles Watching Over Me"is a religious book. It basically has the religious beliefs about life. The book consists of the life Pam and Linda had. It is their experiences with difficulty,hardship,love and faith they went through. But with everything that happened in their life how they had that faith in God makes it a perfect book for the people struggling to maintain their faith in God.
Initially, It has Pam's side of story how she was abused in her childhood and how she later turned into a lovely women who helped dying people and made their last moments happy and peaceful.Even after she had to come through all the difficulties in her life she turns out selfless woman.When she gets into a car accident and has a physical injury for lifelong she takes that in a positive way of understanding why God chose that for her.She does the social work of helping the LGBTQ people suffering from AIDS/HIV epidemic.When the whole world thinks that it is punishment for people who belong to LGBTQ for being born different.She helps them through the pain and suffering they go through until they are at peace.This book has a different sides of her life which will make us question ourselves about our life and how we deal with it.Pam was initially a atheist who later devotes her life to serve God.
Later,It has the Linda's side of story. She's a emotional ,sensitive Christian woman who falls in love with another woman.She teaches lessons about unconditional love to others.But,in reality she has been made to go through hell to be with her love of life as people deny and criticize her love for another woman.She goes through so much pain and heartbreak ones she starts following the path of love which isn't normal for others.Linda goes through so many difficult phases in her life from divorce,child's custody,attack and jail sentence to many more life tests.Which will make you question why after everything she would still have faith?But,how she comes through all the difficulties even after all the series of tests is important.
This book has differnt verses of the Bible which are beautifully included and there are books in references to the story.It has many section where you'll question everything that is around you.So many controversial points that aren't known to many people or have been spoken about.The blind acceptances that run throughout the world.But,in the end it is totally about what we want to think and accept.This book is too deeply written we need to understand the meaning behind the words.we don't get reasons for everything that happens in life but what happens after that is what matters.God doesn't make you suffer.There is always something unseen that we need to have faith in.It is how we'll have the unconditional love of God.This book is about two people with different stories but it gives reasons and questions about everybody's life.
I rate Angels Watching Over Meby Pam and Linda a 4 out of a 4 stars.I would recommend this book to all the religious people and even to the ones who are suffering to hold onto their faith.I specially recommend this book to all Christians from all churches. It is a must read book.The people who suffer from different situations and have a great impact in their life are in need to have peace and love can also read this.The faith in the unconditional love of God is restored after reading this book.For anyone struggling with mental harassment,abuse,neglect,denial and belong to LGBTQ community who need the love and affection you deserve might get through this book.
