DO NOT READ THIS BOOK UNLESS YOU ARE 100% READY TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE.

Author Skip Jennings made sure The Little Book of Big Transformations lived up to its full potential. He takes you by the hand for a 31-day spiritual transformation through self-reflection, affirmations, and gentle lessons. Each day’s passage is typically a page long so it only takes 5-10 minutes of your day. Using his own experiences and perfectly picked quotes, the author shows how easy it is to make huge transformations through the smallest of changes. Seriously though, do not read this book unless you are ready to change for good. Otherwise, you won't be able to fully reap the benefits from these epic teachings.

One of the things I enjoyed most was how the author spoke using interfaith friendly dialogue. Although he does quote Biblical scripture and references God, this book can apply to any person no matter what religion they choose. It’s by using terms like “infinite self”, “Spirit” and “the Divine” that make the lessons flexible to fit the religious beliefs of the reader.

Another wow factor was how you could open the book to any page and still receive a spiritually fulfilling lesson. They may be short and sweet passages, but they are so, so powerful. Some of the powerful lessons I personally took away centered around self-forgiveness and what it truly means to spiritually and mentally transform. Each day provides something new to learn which also relates back to the previous lessons shared.

If this book had been professionally edited, I would have been able to give it 4 stars. There were just too many punctuation and easy-to-fix errors which is why I have to rate The Little Book of Big Transformations 3 out of 4 stars. Trust me when I say I wanted to give this book the highest rating available. Anyone who enjoys self-help books, like myself, will want to put this on their shelves to read again and again and again. I strongly believe anyone at any age could benefit from reading this. From teenagers to the elderly, you can’t tell me a single person wouldn’t be able to find one enlightening thing.

Inspirational quotes? Check. Easy to follow lessons that you learn to apply to your daily life? Check. What more could you honestly want out of a spiritually sound and well-rounded self-help book? If you don’t pick up this book at least once, the only person who’s missing out is you.

This book seems to have all the things that a good self-help book needs. It's true that even the smallest changes can lead to the biggest transformations. The interfaith-friendly dialogues are a big bonus. Thanks for the great review

I wholeheartedly agree about the interfaith-friendly parts. That was probably one of the best parts of the book for me.
