Review of Affirm The Word
The book is inspirational and enjoyable, this book will take care of those people that have lost faith in God, and this book will serve as a medicine to those that think there is definitely no cure to troubles and for what they are suffering from internally. This book is very good for grooming young minds as well as adults.
The positive impact on this book was the way author J.Marie Jones, the writer explains how she found god at a very young age, she did not want perfection nor to be recognised as a perfect person of God but a true believer - There are many people who are going through a lot in life, thus some of them need to heal on the inside and get that inner peace within themselves, once that is done then a change for a better life will be visible.
The negative impact on this book, I do feel that the author has not said much, i am hungry for her words, at the beginning of this book - despite the introduction, there were too much biblical words said than the writer of the book. I am left hungry;dissatisfied, what is her say, I want more from her, I then felt she is absent for a while. The book has too much of bible study.
I give the book a rate of Three out of four stars, i would have given it a straight four star, but due to some cases I do not think the book deserves a four star at all since the author was nowhere to be found in the middle of the book until the end, anyway I felt accompanied though by the scriptures;biblical words and verses - non of the authors inspirational words, therefore a person who loves reading a holy bible just like I do, will enjoy this writing. Bible study pupils might fall for it, not to mention the preachers, definitely a good symbol to the young adults engaged or married, the writer did not specifically state the difficulties and marriage outcomes nor tell us what she has been through.
I would recommend this book to a god fearing person;a prayer warrior. Affirm the word written by a believer for believers, I am not saying there are non-believers out there that will not find an interest to reading this book until the end, though a person seeking for a direction;a person who is on the lookout for the word of God, a person who says, I am broken but I will never give up on the holy spirit;a person who is going through difficulties finding god no matter how broken or vulnerable are you, make it a point that you read this book.
The holy bible might be too long to read with all the strange words that are difficult to understand then do not hesitate, get to read this book. I think students who wish to be pastors one day are welcome to read this book, it has a lot of bible scriptures and the book can be read by teenagers and adults. The book has no sexual scenes.
