The attention grabber of Fulfillment gives a wake-up call to the lazy and encourages the workaholic. We tend to blame things and situations when things go bad in life while passing time in a rocking chair. The author puts a nail on it by stating that bad things could be the result of believing in a surrogate god like money or fear. I took note of the life lesson about fulfilling or doing what God has said that echoes through the greater part of the book.

I love the evangelical tone that Ica expresses in chapter 4. He gives an awakening example of a child playing too much without doing their school work. With such growing ignorance, one tends to find themselves in a realm of excuses. This sad example, when reflected in real life, is actually true of those who have the word of God but never speak it. They shift blame to God and grow cold of love towards others.

The disturbing part is when the author refers to God as “She”. We know that God is not subject to gender, but we cannot alter the word of God all in the name of wanting to be cool with words. This is somewhat an abomination, because God Himself refers to Himself as “He”. In Isaiah 43:13 He says, “Also henceforth I am he; there is none who can deliver from my hand; I work, and who can turn it back?” And an emphasis is put by Revelation 1:18 by saying, “I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen.” The other part that might be mostly misleading those who want to choose right is the idea of the rainbow religion. Putting God under one umbrella with other gods somehow instills that the author does not have the true revelation of who God is. You can’t give what you don’t have.

I would basically rate the book 2 out of 4 stars because it is like an ever-learning person that never comes to the knowledge of whatever he or she has studied over time.

If one is able to sift through the teachings in this book, then it is suitable for you. I cannot say much about those cannot discern or differentiate, but because of its few spiritual misinterpretations it contains, I suggest that you stay away to avoid possible spiritual life contamination.
