Are you trying to increase productivity and motivate your employees without the use of bonuses or raises? Do you struggle to relate to a newly hired millennial workforce? Are you looking to be a standout candidate for a new job? Whether you are running a company, leading a small team, or are searching for a job Dr. Deborah S. Bright’s The Pro-Achievement Principle can help you become a pro-achiever. You might be wondering what a pro-achiever is as I was when picking up this book. Dr. Bright clearly explains that you need an achieving attitude and personal responsibleness to become a pro-achiever. Anyone at any age, stage of their career, education level, and field of study can become a pro-achiever but first, they must choose to themselves. In this short, informative BIZLET 7 lessons are outlines with key takeaways at the end of each lesson. A companion workbook is also available if this BIZLET will be studied as a group.

My favorite aspect of this book is the use of real-world examples in each lesson. The breakdown of these lessons into relatable scenarios makes the concepts much easier to understand and apply to
your own life. The key takeaways at the end of the lesson are a perfect summary to refresh on some key topics or to remind yourself over time what you are working on.

I did not find any negative aspects of this book.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars . This book is very helpful and easy to understand. I can’t wait to apply these principles to my work life and my personal life to become a better employee and leader in every aspect. This book is exceptionally well written and edited by a knowledgeable author.

I recommend this book for any person in a management position that is looking to improve the productivity or atmosphere of their team. Also, to those looking to be promoted to leadership or simply those looking for self-improvement. I believe this book would be a good group study for a work team, including great options for discussions and evaluations.
