Money Faucet is the second book in Joe Calderwood’s series about Clint Kennedy. Clint Kennedy is a bisexual rich man who has attained his money by laundering money for Pedro, his drug lord boss. When Pedro learns about the police killing many prominent drug lords, he advises Clint to stay in Miami. Money Faucet is a thrilling crime novel that made me stick on it till the end.

Clint is a successful drug trafficker in Mexico who is happy living comfortably. When he receives news about the deaths of his associates, he becomes suspicious of his business. Things get worse for Clint in Mexico as his friend dies, and he is detained even more. As he ponders on his life choices, he realizes that something big may happen to him. Due to his job, Clint has built a lavish lifestyle in Mexico. Despite his crime, he is a decent man. He has also opened an academy for Mayan kids.

Money Faucet is a unique crime novel, the protagonist is a very kind-hearted gentleman for a person who is working in the drug industry. I expected him to be the villain and a bad guy but Joe Calderwood showed something different. I liked everything about this book. This is the first book I have read by the author and I already like him and I can't wait to finish off this series. It was an amazing book, full of mystery, I was engaged throughout the book. Calderwood used the first and third narration which was focusing at first but did not disturb my enjoyment.

I did not find any error in the book which proofs that it was professionally edited. I will rate this book 4 out of 4 stars for all the reasons that I have mentioned above. This is the second book of The Clint Kennedy Crime series but I was not lost or confused in any way which shows that it can be read without reading the first book.

I recommend this book to people who love reading crime novels and are also adults. They are mentioning drugs lords which may be sensitive to other people but do not contain explicit content despite its mature theme. However, there are some mild profanity and a graphic description of the murder. The protagonist is bisexual which means that the book supports the LGBT community, which might affect some Christians since it is against Christianity or any other religion.
