The Defeat of Covid by Colleen Huber is a collection of medical studies and the conclusion reached by Colleen Huber. Huber, who is not a medical doctor, writes about how she believes covid is not a pandemic, that some vitamins can be used as therapeutics against covid, and that social distancing does not work. She also states that face masks are not effective and are even dangerous. Huber describes an anti-parasite drug as being the drug best at killing covid.

There were no good aspects to be found in this essay. This book is full of pseudoscience that has already been disproven by actual medical professionals in the study of covid. The Defeat of Covid was full of grammatical and spelling errors.

Colleen Huber cherrypicked and even wrote medical studies to try to prove the pseudoscience she believes. A simple search among peer-reviewed journals quickly disproves what Huber has written. Writing nonfactual medical studies to prove her book as correct comes off as fraudulent. Masks help prevent covid; this is a factual report, yet Huber has stirred up conspiracy theories on masks. Ivermectin is an anti-parasitic drug, which has zero effect on the virus covid-19. Nevertheless, The Defeat of Covid has put it out there to be the miracle drug of this pandemic. The use of Ivermectin can lead to devastating side effects and is not recommended by doctors. These fake facts being presented are misinforming readers, which can lead to harm and even death. Someone may believe her statements about masks or Ivermectin and could make themselves or people close to them seriously ill. Huber is putting people in danger. Along with the blatant lies in this work, it is full of multiple grammar and spelling errors.

I give The Defeat of Covid 1 out of 4 stars. One star was removed for the terrible grammar and spelling. I had the second star dismissed for the incorrect ‘facts’ given. The third star was taken because of the dangers this book poses to the overly trusting reader.

I would not recommend this book to anyone. Colleen Huber likes to call herself a doctor, but she has no Ph.D. at all. The Defeat of Covid is a dangerous, fraudulent book that should not be published at all. Huber has had whistleblowers step forward about other works she has done. I would maybe recommend this to actual doctors for them to read and disprove.
