Do you dream about your future? Do you want to be successful? Rise And Conquer: The Unrivaled Mindset And Self-discipline To Achieve Your Wildest Goals by Juan Partida explains exactly how you can do this and have what you desire. It is up to you, and no external force can stop you from achieving your dream if you sincerely want it. This insightful self-help book breaks it down into easily understood steps. Using the “Vision Fulfillment Pyramid”, Juan Partida shows you must break the vision of your future into goals to get you there, and routines to follow, until they become daily habits.

An example I found most memorable was about a potato and an egg. Put both into boiling water and the potato will become soft, while the egg becomes hard. This is also true of people. When hardships occur, some will weaken and give up, while others become stronger from the experience. This explanation stuck in my mind and made me realize life couldn’t defeat me unless I let it.

Each chapter starts with an inspirational quote by a famous person or character like Rocky Balboa, Carl Jung, Martin Luther King and Winston Churchill. Also, each chapter ends with “Key Takeaways,” summarizing its most important points. At the end is a link to receive a free “Unrivaled Battle-Planner” worksheet, along with a video from the author.

There is nothing I dislike about this book. At only 94 pages on my Kindle copy, it is clear and concise. It isn’t redundant, as are so many other self-help books. It packs a punch on each page and gives the reader ideas they can actually use.

This book is invaluable to any person who desires to get what they want out of life. It is short, easy to understand, and contains no inappropriate material. I easily recommend it to everyone, as I think it would be beneficial to any reader. If you don’t like self-help books, then you should look elsewhere.

I liked it and am eager to put what I read into practice. I only discovered two places where I felt the author used incorrect words, and I believe the book is professionally edited. Because of the dynamic content and easy-to-understand ideas, this book deserves the highest rating. I am awarding 4 out of 4 stars to Rise And Conquer: The Unrivaled Mindset And Self-discipline To Achieve Your Wildest Goals by Juan Partida.
