The Elf Brief by Jordan David is a fantasy novel which describes the adventures of Noel Night, as well as activities within the North Pole. Noel Night is an elf who works in the north pole, alongside a thousand other elves, who are all assigned different tasks. The North Pole is where Santa and his elves live and work to ensure a Christmas to remember for children all over the world. Noel is pulled out of his everyday routine when he is given a special task by Santa, which involves the emergence of a new Santa. He takes on his assignment with fervour and enthusiasm, uncovering a lot of mysteries surrounding the North Pole along the way, solving some of them with the help of his close friends, and is eventually given a special position at the North Pole, with determination to get to the root of the many other mysteries.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book as it is the first of its kind I've come across. Jordan has done an excellent work in going out of his way to birth a fantasy book which is entirely unconventional yet really enjoyable. In this book, Jordan managed to blend the fantastical world of the elves with the regular day methods and technologies extremely well. His concept of North Pole, the elves, their various duties and tasks, as well as their organized mode of operation is definitely praise-worthy. I also liked his portrayal of Santa Claus and the mode of power transfer from one Santa to the other. The author also did an excellent job in developing the character of the protagonist, Noel Night. I absolutely love smart, tenacious protagonists like Noel.

I consider The Elf Brief an amazing book and I could not find any negative thing about it. The book was also professionally edited. I am most definitely eager to complete the series.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. This is because I really enjoyed reading the book, it met my expectations and was also well edited. It really is a unique fantasy book.

I recommend this book to people who love unique fantasy books, particularly those with happy feels and happy endings to it. It is suitable for a wide range of audience, as it does not contain profanity of any sort.

Your review has made me curious about the mode of power transfer from one Santa to the other. :D This sounds like a light and fun read. Thank you for your recommendation! :balloon:
