This book includes about 300 frequently used idioms divided into 25 thematic chapters. The themes are key topics of English conversation useful in lifestyle and business, for describing actions and expressing emotions. Each chapter introduces 10-15 idioms. Idioms are more complex than vocabulary words, but act like them therein they need to fit within the grammatical structure of a sentence. Idioms are often used as all parts. The meaning of every idiom is explained in both English and Japanese. Example sentences help your understanding and use of the idioms. And to enable in-depth learning, this book includes a story that uses the idioms introduced in each chapter.The text was designed as a learning resource for intermediate to advanced students of English, yet its language was deliberately kept simple enough to even be accessible to high beginners.
