It was supposed to be a simple vacation. Tim had no idea that his entire vacation would turn upside down after stopping an abduction of a child. One failed abduction uncovered some bone chilling secrets. How far would Tim go to protect the ones he loves?

Snow Country Lane by author Sarah Vail is a detective - suspense novel which revolves around the thrilling adventures of an assistant prosecutor, Tim McAndrews.
On a vacation at Schweitzer Mountain with his wife and friends, Tim saves a little girl from getting kidnapped after which his entire vacation turned into an investigation involving the FBI to find out about the abductions and the person behind it. Prosecution was Tim's forte but investigation? Not so much. But the urge to find answers to his questions to protect his loved ones, Tim had to gear up for what was coming his way.

The positive points in this book would be that the language is lucid and that every little thing has a detailed explanation. From weapons to experiments, everything is described very neatly for the better understanding of the readers. The author tells the story from different perspectives thereby making it more captivating. The suspense and action in this book keeps a reader absolutely mesmerized.

The only thing that I consider as a negative point is that even though the explanations were in simple terms and easy to understand, there were some places where it might have been unnecessary. A detailed analysis of a weapon at a critical time when the apprehension is high might ruin it. Other than this I believe there is no other negative point.

I also believe that this book is professionally edited. I failed to find any errors and therefore I give it 4 out of 4 stars.

According to my opinion this book is perfect for people who are 13 and above and have a love for this genre.
