[How to be successful]is an inspiring book that gives you reason why you should not give up on yourself and life, it gives you reasons through the real life stories written as case study by [M Curtis McCoy]. You may have lots of excuses why you have not make it in life but McCoy said there is always an opportunity to create your own success by providing solutions to problems people finds difficult to solve.

McCoy mentioned the word 'Pain Points', this can only be discovered if proper research is carried out on industry of interest or target. The willingness to risk Short term Comfort to build your future. This book gives insights that life is what you decide to make of it. "Work like it's up to you and Pray like it's up to God".

Having the right and positive attitude regardless of your starting point or the situation you may find yourself helps you when opportunity show up at your doorstep. You are where you are because of the choices, decisions and your outlook on life.

According to McCoy, success to him is doing something that improves the lives of others and makes him really happy. That is finding fulfilment through showing others the way. It through failure you learn to be successful. One of thing I learn from this book is that not all projects you put in your 100 percent works, so Know when to cut your losses and move on .

Biblical Instances were quite visible in the pages of this book but I like how it was balanced with reality of what we have. He said he doesn't believe in the prosperity gospel, God didn't promise that good things Would happen because you hope for them, you have to take decisive, consistent action to achieve your goal. These captures both spiritual and physical side. Overnight Success doesn't just happen, it is a road that includes several nights of study, failures, rejections, pains, delayed gratification. Been an entrepreneur does not come cheap, It is much more difficult task than people think. Don't forget to contemplate the risks.

In chapter 23, does using profanity make you seem more successful? This question was well dealt with, I like the fact that the writer never takes sides but rather gave instances allowing his reader be the judge. This show how he has taken his time to write this book.

Reading through the interviews done with various successful men in different fields inspires me to understand that it takes efforts to be successful and takes more efforts to be a leader. To a successful leader you must be on top of your game 24 hours a day, 7 times a week, 52 weeks in a year so it takes alot. This book was exciting to read giving the level of information I was able to digest. Professionally this book was well edited, I give 3 out 4 and I strongly recommend it.
