Review of How To Be Successful
How to be successful by M. Curtis McCoy is an inspirational and motivational book that teaches us how to deal with our daily lives from being rich to enjoying life. The author talked about being rich as not just having a lot of money or wealth but we can also be rich through valuing our happiness and families, the people who matter to us.
At the age of 27 months, Curtis was diagnosed with type one diabetes and later he was diagnosed with brain cancer and he was given only 60-90 days to live. He also went through tough times of life with his mother since his mother divorced her husband and she was struggling to make ends meet for her two sons. Curtis decided to make an impact with his life by writing this novel to bring hope to humanities that are going through tough times. At the age of 27, he was a successful young man who owned companies in various industries including medical, fashion, manufacturing distribution and pharmaceuticals.
He decided to conduct several interviews with different entrepreneurs who gave him a summary of their whole life, in the interviews he conducted, I noticed that both the entrepreneurs had books that they read that motivated them and also had some that they read frequently. That gave me a challenge and I was motivated to read more inspiring books. They also talked about putting God first before making their decisions and that also gave me a challenge.
M. Curtis McCoy wrote a challenging book that will bring change to anybody who reads the book. I personally got motivated and have set up new strategies to align my life on the right path. We should all identify our strength and make the best out of them and also identify our weaknesses and come up with ways to overcome them.
The book was professionally edited and there was no point that I encountered any grammatical mistake. It had a perfect flow and it did not lose its momentum. I enjoyed reading the book as I got motivated and challenged and so there are no any negative feedback about the book. I therefore rate it 4 out of 4 stars
In recommendation, I would like to recommend this book to people who have experienced difficulties and felt like giving up at some point. Reading this book will give you hope and a direction to take in the path of life. Any other personal can also read the book to get more knowledge.
