Do you think it is high time you passed on that wealth, estates, knowledge and so on to your offspring(s)? Are you wondering how you should do that? You are confused on which to get; a Will or a Trust? Do I Need a Will or a Trust by Taylor Phillip Willingham, J.D. M.S will guide you on the exact ways or why you should do that.

Do I Need a Will or a Trust by Taylor Phillip Willingham, J.D. M.S is a book that illustrates, with pictures and charts, the meaning and differences between a Will and a Trust, scenarios or occasions where you should either get a Will or a Trust. The book made it clear the difference between a blended family and a non-blended family and why a blended family needs good estate planning. Other aspects touched in the book were; how to protect minor children, planning on a multi-generational wealth for your kids and grandkids and the most important one- how do you protect yourself from your older self?

Do I Need a Will or a Trust was an eye-opener. An educational and informative read that I wished had more pages. This is a book that will be an interesting read for everyone, as the legal terms were explained in simple English everyone could understand. The author made references to the source of some quotes and information provided in the book at the bottom of the pages.

I love the fact that the author used pictures, charts, memes and tables to explain some concepts. As a visual learner like me, this was really appreciated because it made the understanding of these concepts easy.

The author used stories, personal ones, to explain some scenarios in this book. I believe this was an effort expanded to make readers understand life scenarios of what he was talking about. He emphasized how attorneys use big legal words to confuse clients in order to charge them heavily. Rather, he listed the words and explained them in simple English everyone would understand.

This would have been a perfect book, but the author should have written this book not only in the United States' scope but also worldwide. Readers outside the United States might not understand some concepts in this book. I do not blame him though, he didn't practice outside the US, I guess. So his legal knowledge should be limited to his country. That is the only thing I don't like about this book.

I would therefore rate this book a 4 out of 4 stars because this is a knowledge I find indispensable and one you could pass through generations. Also, I rated it 4 stars because I found no grammatical errors. I believe this is a book that was professionally edited and proofread. I would recommend this book to both older and younger people who think it is too early to either get a Will or a Trust.

I believe this book touches on some very important prospects of life and even death. It brings a solution or perhaps just advice to a subject that many people avoid. Unfortunately, the fact is, we all die at some point, and handling our wealth appropriately before we die is the way to go.
