The Elf Coup – Book Three of the Magi Charter by Jordan David is a fantasy novel. In this series, Noel is still the protagonist and there are missing people, once again Mistletoe Green is up to no good and there is the addition of a villain that makes it so interesting.

When Santa and his bride go missing, things started to become worse in the north pole. Mistletoe Green wants to be in charge. He reveals his plan to become The Elf Coup and form a treaty with the polar bears to deal with his opponents. The reindeer lose their ability to fly and Krampus also keep sending threat messages to the North Pole and causing havoc. The situation gets worse as the bears attack the elves and the production halts. Will Noel be able to stop what is happening in the North Pole?

I liked the storyline, it was creative, I was envisioning every scene that was happening and I connected to the story and characters. I wish that they could be a movie based on this novel. I like that Jordan David always brings something exciting, I never thought that someone could write such an exquisite series about Christmas and makes it different and engaging.

I always thought the North Pole to be a peaceful place and assumed that all the elves have a good heart and they got well with everyone since Santa Claus give presents to the well-behaved children. North Pole seems like the real world where they are good and bad people, and also that they can not fix everything easily as I have thought even if they have magic.

What I did not like about the book was the exclusion of page numbers since I will be asked to write down the errors that I will be detecting. There were few errors in the book that detected which proofs that the novel was professionally edited. I rate The Elf Coup – Book Three of the Magic Charter 3 out of 4 stars for all the reasons that I have mentioned above.

I will recommend this book to a fantasy lover. This is a great read for anyone who enjoys stories that are based on Christmas or other special occasions. There was no vulgar language used which shows that it is for all people. I also suggest that you should start with book one to get to know more about the characters and their background, this series requires some knowledge from book two.
