The hero in the story wants to go back to the United States. After traveling from Iran to Turkmenistan, the hero stayed at a university. In the university, he killed five teachers. Then to escape from there, he had to kill many students and local villagers too. But still home is far-far away. He doesn't have a passport or another form of identification. Along with the language barrier, discrimination, and no Turkmenistan currency, it becomes more difficult.FBI, Interpol, and even the UN want to arrest him. But still, he has supernatural power, that can help him.

Carla Bright is an FBI agent, who is in love with the hero of the story. She gets anxious very quickly but always manages to hide her emotions. She had to leave Turkmenistan, leaving the love of her life alone. However, only after a few hours, she was back again in Turkmenistan just to produce futile outcomes. Other worth crediting characters are Chip and his beautiful but mysterious girlfriend Shannon. Chip has a great intuition ability. He didn't have a formal job and earns by using his ability in gambling. He met Shannon in beautiful Bristlecone springs for the first time. Jeanna, the hero's business partner, sold the business when his partner(our hero) goes missing.

The Attuned by Gary B.Haley is an action thrilling fiction. The story focused on the struggle and hardship of the person's journey, who has very strong willpower. From the heat of the desert to the frozen rainwater cold, from drug lords to workload, from international organization to wolves and bears, from scorpions to own headaches, nausea, hunger, exhaustion, that person has to fight it all to survive. The author kept only a few characters to keep the story interesting and understandable. The whole storyline was narrated from the perspective of the story's hero.

The best thing I liked was the way the author has added humor in all chaos. The way the author has put nature's magnificence in the storyline is remarkable. All the characters are beautifully developed. The character that I liked the most was the main hero in the story himself. His strong will is terrific. I will give it 4 out of 4. The book has a great storyline. I really like the story.

I will strongly recommend this book to readers who like action and thriller fiction. Language is moderate, with little profanity. So, I wouldn't recommend it to children. But still, I believe that everyone should try it because of its great storylines. However, I disliked the introduction of the Chip chapter in the middle of chaos. But with the entry of Shannon, his storyline becomes very interesting too.
