Gustave Kinrys M. D. and Alexandra Gold M. A. combine a large amount of information on how to cope with anxiety and stress. They use practices such as meditation and useful exercises to utilize when triggers of stress and anxiety begin to occur. They continue by prescribing herbs and vitamins along with progressive muscle relaxation to guide you to relieve stress. While informative there is a concern of mixing medications with certain herbs and an extensive guidance as in the form of a table would’ve been helpful in determining what could be mixed and what needed to be avoided. While some of the herbs and plants that were described in the book as being helpful to overcoming stress and anxiety, others of the plants were dangerous to be mixed with other medication‘s and depending on your overall health they may or may not be advisable to use. A great deal of the information was very useful in the fact that you may or may not have known about their values and dealing with stress and anxiety. Overall the information disclosed was very helpful. The rating is a three out of four as it is a recommended reading and a lot of good and new information.
