Idiom Attack Vol. 1 Everyday Living (Sim. Chinese Edition) is a 25-chapter book that teaches about idioms. It is written in both Chinese and English for the benefit of readers who can speak both fluently or a bit. It contains hundreds of idioms that are popular in America. It shows us their meaning and proper use. There isn't much to say about the book other than that it is an awesome book that does the above in a very professional way.

Peter Liptak is the author of this book. He has been an educator for a while, and that fact is reflected in this book. The way he writes about these idioms, the way he explains them, and how it makes it easy for just about anybody to comprehend, are what I liked the most about it. The language he uses is very simple, and he always hits the nail on the head the first time he tries to explain something.

Another thing that I have loved about the book is the assignments given at the end and (sometimes) at the beginning of each chapter. They helped me revisit all that the book taught me and made most of it stick. That is the goal of every good teacher, after all. In this case, by putting assignments and pictures in the book, that goal was achieved 100%.

It would be false for me to claim that I disliked anything in Idiom Attack Vol. 1 Everyday Living (Sim. Chinese Edition). I say this because I want everyone to know that I got so much from this and did not dislike anything about it. The way that it was written and how simple it was made me fall in love with the book. I know that in time, I will read this over and over again to cement every single thing in it in my head. It was also exceptionally well-edited (I hardly see books that have no errors in them).

4 out of 4 stars is the rating that I have decided to give this. I would have loved to give more, but I cannot. It got this excellent rating because I liked everything about it. Some people may actively disagree with my decision, but this remains that way for me.

Finally, if you wish to understand the right way to use idioms, you should definitely read this book. It will help with your vocabulary. It will also help you gain the knowledge to impact or teach others. Since it is translated into Chinese, people who read Chinese alone will have a comfortable time reading this.
