Review of Happiness is All We Want!
Happiness Is All We Want is a self-help book written by Ashutosh Mishra. The purpose of this book is to help the readers to find their personal meaning of happiness.
The book was divided into three parts. The first part pays attention to the mind, which plays a big part in our entire existence. The next part helps the readers to attain a physically fit body. And the last part is about the ways on how to nurture the soul; this part also includes a summary of the whole book.
The first thing that I liked about this book is how the author organized the ideas and information he presented. He included a manual on the introduction on how to make this book more useful. He mentioned different ways on how to enjoy reading this book and how to apply the suggestions and the tips he shared efficiently and effectively. The author emphasizes that the first two parts must be read in close succession as much as possible.
From time to time, the author inserts some engaging stories that are either from his personal experience or from the interview of people with different genres of stories in life. He also included practical tips that are very useful in our everyday living. There is a section in the last part of every chapter that tackles the things to ponder and the things to do; this is my favorite section because it acts as a summary of the whole chapter. Those sections of the book made my reading engaging yet informative.
The author used words that are direct and simple. He didn't hesitate to use uncomplicated sentences while explaining the ideas and information he wants to share. With that, he made this book easier to absorb and comprehend with a full understanding of the presented ideas.
As I was busy enjoying the positive aspects of this book, I found some frequent minor errors. Those errors distracted the fluidity of my reading. Another thorough proofread of this book will be truly appreciated.
Because of the aforementioned negative aspect of this book, I was obliged to remove one star from the rating. This book gains three out of four stars. I can't give it two stars because the information presented is impactful and life-changing. The author mentioned that this book is for everyone, but as for me, I highly recommended it to the people who think that they don't deserve to be happy; this book made me realize that there are plenty of reasons to be happy, we just have to find them out.
