Review of Manifesto for a Cancer Patient
Manifesto for a Cancer Patient by Colleen Huber, NMD, is a non-fiction book covering everything related to cancer. It provides information about the types of cancer, causes of cancer, its stages, natural treatment options, and preventative actions. This book clarified the distinctions between chemotherapeutic oncologists and naturopathic Physicians. Oncologists promote expensive chemotherapy to cancer patients as a necessity. This book demonstrates how, in the guise of science, we have been blindly embracing what the chemotherapy industry has told us. Dr. Colleen emphasized the need for conventional doctors to inform cancer patients that chemotherapy is not the only treatment option available. It provides information about patients' rights to choose their preferred treatment choices, what to expect and their prospects of receiving the treatment of their choice. Dr. Colleen compares the risks and advantages of chemotherapy to alternative remedies that have been ignored by conventional medicine for years.
Manifesto for a Cancer Patient shed greater light on the extent of clout that big pharmaceutical companies wield over cancer treatment legislation. It also emphasizes the group of people who are predisposed to cancer due to their lifestyle or characteristics. It went on to reveal that vitamin A, C, and D, when combined with adequate activity, can increase the odds of survival and remission.
I enjoyed reading this book. There was nothing in this book that I didn't enjoy. I appreciate the author's candor and forthrightness in discussing the book's subject. In her preface, Dr. Colleen broke down the book, allowing readers to determine which chapters to pay more attention to. The author was able to capture the true spirit of what patients confront in cancer clinics all around the world, as well as provide some diet and exercise recommendations that cancer patients and everyone else can benefit from.
The book was educational. It was well-written, with easy-to-understand diction. The author's choice of words demonstrated her concern for the sufferers. I discovered no errors in the book, indicating that it had been exceptionally edited. I thereby give this book a rating of 4 out of 4 stars.
This book is recommended to cancer patients, anyone taking care of cancer patients, anyone looking for a less-harmful treatment alternative to chemotherapy, and people like me who are interested in natural cancer treatment. However, this book is not recommended for people who are not interested in medicine or who are unfamiliar with scientific or medical terms because some of the chapters may be tedious for them.
