When the newlywed Kelly Turbulo finds an the perfect island getaway for honeymoon in her and new husband Tom’s price range of course she jumped on it, wouldn’t you? But this island isn’t as peaceful as anticipated. What would you do if you stumbled into a warehouse full of computers and a map of the United States and Canada? Join Kelly and Tom as they try to figure out what these terrorists are planning, but of course they can’t do it alone. But with the clock ticking and danger is waiting around the corner will they be able to discover what they are up to and stop the terrorists time.

This book isn’t written in anyones perspective and does a lot of jumping around to follow different characters but I found it to be very cohesive. I really enjoyed the different layers and perspectives this style of writing gave to the book along with some very basic science to give the reader an understanding of what may be occurring.

I didn’t particularly like how many of the characters used the exact same words such as “Dear” this just feels a little un-natural and I honestly don’t know anyone who speaks like that, I know the author was trying to keep it PG but the usage of that particular of endearment just seemed a little excessive considering there are so many others that could have been used. I may be nitpicking however and haven’t deducted any stars for this.

I give (i) EMP Honeymoon: Kelly & Tom(/i) (b) 4 out of 4 stars.(/b) I found this book very easy to follow. Dorothy May Mercer has done a fabulous job of turning a very complicated concept into something somewhat lighthearted and easy to read without taking the punch of the story.

For those wanting to read (i) EMP Honeymoon: Kelly & Tom (/i) I would say go for it if you are looking for some light reading, perhaps you’re a little sick of the usual romance books and you want a little action; while this book isn’t quite full daredevil it should satisfy those cravings.
