Life for an 18-wheeler truck driver, Lew Thompson, was mundane especially after the passing of his wife, Betty. He was the general manager of a warehouse commissioned to distribute all tools of worship for religious purposes. However, Lew Thompson's life took a great turn when a shipment of "10,000 year-old prayers" package was delivered to his warehouse by a mysterious man. He was fortunate to have a young buddy, Billy Anderson to give him undue support. A meeting was held to ascertain who among his staff put up an order. None of them admitted. Being a "no nonsense" man, Lew immediately took on the task of investigating and in the midst of which his career was endangered and his life was threatened. He was on the run, pursued by those who opposed to his ideology. Fortunately, the activities of this organized religious crime were thwarted by Interpol who secretly planted their agents at the warehouse for purpose of surveillance of the suspicious business of the warehouse. In this book "Working At The Warehouse" by Jerry A. Greenberg, the author overly described each character of the employees working in the warehouse; thereby leaving him less room to delve into the activities of the organized religious crime committed by Almighty Dollar Foundation and the Jackawanna Club, an area which I expect to learn more and believe should be explored further.

It was good to learn of the pleasant ending of the story where most staff showed their dedication and commitment to the company and gathered for a breakfast despite tiredness and fatigue that had overwhelmed them.

The negative aspect was the betrayal shown by Ahmad and his team who were eliminated from the plot.

I would rate this book as 1 out of 4 stars as it needs very much further editing and proof-reading. There were some grammatical errors, wrong tenses used, although there was only one typo error found on page 91 as "friends,s". The text were often seen to be manually hyphenated which made those words unreadable. Examples are found in page 17 - products as "prod-ucts", modern as "mod-ern" and page 22 - "proclamation" as "proc-lamation" and many more of such hyphenated words which make the book unpresentable. If at all the book is further edited, it will attract those audience who thirst for more spiritual contents although the book at its present state lacks this aspect.
