Bluewater Walkabout is written by Tina Dreffin, a real estate agent who decides to change her life to 180 degrees and follow her heart. She quits her job, and here the adventure comes. She decides to live on the ocean, living her best life exploring the world. Sometimes it is hard to believe that the stories are real.

She describes at the beginning the way she felt about her life. She didn't like her life. She hated her job where she experienced sexual assault. She talks about it, considering that speaking about these problems will increase awareness. She also talks about depression. She felt like it wasn't her place. Then she met Peter, a man who sailed on the seas. That's when she understood that he was the one. She talks about it as a faith, as it was meant to be.

She decides to anchor in these adventures, enjoying her life on the boat with her husband. She talks about miscarriage, depression after losing a child and healing.

First of all, I like how she describes the adventures with her family sailing some of the most dangerous waters around Africa. It was a tough trip, being on board with their two teenagers and two friends who aren't aware of the things that can happen on board. Also, being far from any medical support made the trip more stressful.

I loved the description of the places that she explored. I enjoyed reading about all the things and animals that she saw. It made me feel like I were there with her going through all the obstacles. Also, the author managed to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand for everybody.

I didn't quite like that, sometimes the situations were too detailed. It was a bit hard for me to focus on the actions. Also, in the beginning, everything seemed all other the place. There were too many characters, too many places that were switching abruptly. It made the actions hard to follow. It was hard for me to keep track of what was happening.

I recommend this book to everyone who likes reading about adventures. I think that teenagers will find this book most appealing. However, this book covers topics like abortion, depression, sexual assault. So, if you aren't comfortable reading about these topics, I wouldn't recommend this book to you.

I will rate Bluewater Walkabout by Tina Dreffin 3 out of 4 for the reasons I have stated above. It's because I don't quite like a too detailed book, but the stories in this book are mesmerizing. So, if you prefer reading adventure books, this one is for you.
