Review of Lead us to a place
Lead us to a place by Andrew Pachalyk is essentially a self-help book to teach readers about meditation as well as crystals and several other spiritual healing practices. What immediately grabs your attention is the variety that the author offers. He does not only touch base on one specific method but explores several different methods and you immediately realized that he is not only well versed in these but has tried and done everything he is describing in this book. Andrew Pachalyk explains and explores our different chakras in great detail and helps you find and utilize your third eye in a way that most people will find not only easy but very possible.
The author leads you through the four seasons of your life, Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. In these chapters, he guides you in understanding that, during your different seasons in life, you will and should have a different perspective on your life as not only do the seasons change, but the seasons of your life also evolves during the aging process. In the earlier chapters of the book, the author goes into great detail to give you not only the tools but also the instruction on proper meditation and use of crystals as well as herbs, taking us back to nature. The author explores the use of alternative healing methods but does not do this blindly but explains the method as well as the advantages and disadvantages of doing this.
Reading this book, you realize very early on that not only has the author done extensive research but has also tried everything in the book and is not just giving advice but is giving a life lesson. The one sentence in this book that I think I will carry with me for as long as I have a working mind is “We must be allowed to fall and fail, to reach out and go forth” What I loved about the book is the fact that the author gives you the tools and the method to enrich and better your life and is not only spouting of inspirational slogans that we see everywhere nowadays. Although I did find one or two grammatical errors and one spelling mistake, the book is very well edited.
If I do have to choose one thing about the book that could be seen as a negative, it would be that the book does get a little bit technical in certain parts and, if you are a novice at this sort of thing, you can easily get lost and not understand what is going on.
I would recommend this book to anyone that is looking to improve their state of mind and would like to utilize the healing power of mother nature. Even if you are a novice at this sort of thing, or only want to see what it could offer, it would be a great guide to set you on the path. I will rate the book a 4 out of 4 as it is food for the soul and a healing guide for the mind and body.
