The Maestro Monologue was like a calm, helping guide. I am constantly looking for books to improve my self-awareness, so I was really looking forward to reading it, and I'm happy to say;this book certainly met my expectations. You will question yourself, your opinions and your views on the world. For me personally, this was a wonderful reading experience.

I really liked the way it was written, Rob White made it feel like you were being talked to instead of just reading the words, like a calm mentor instead of someone just typing away at a keyboard and giving you instructions. I liked the quotes as well, it was nice reading words of other, familiar writers, poets and philosophers like Walt Whitman's quote in the beginning. Reading through the book and looking for them was like finding little familiar Easter eggs.

I'm very pleased to say that there was nothing in The Maestro Monologue that I can truly say I disliked. I feel the need to explicitly highlight my statement that the book was a stunning read from start to finish and flowed comfortably, it's the kind of book you can put down and pick up again without a twinge of confusion or the feeling of having to go a page or two back. The information and advice given in the book were written in an easily digestible manmer and I'm sure even people who don't have a particularly big interest in its contents, would still find it informative and enjoyable.

I give this book a 4 out of 4 star rating. It's like a friend in a pocket. In this book you can find advice, philosophy, beautiful metaphors and knowledge you didn't even know you possessed until the words seep into your mind. It's certainly a book worth examining, annotating and I'd truly recommend taking your time to understand and think over the contents. I'd definitely read it again.

I'd recommend it to all my friends who share my interest in improving their self-awareness,or people who struggle with confidence, insecurities or disassociation. In the book there are quotes, validations, motivations and statements that brought a smile to my face a few times. And I felt mentally lighter after reading the book than I felt before.

The Maestro monologue was exceptionally edited and Rob White used proper referencing whenever he mentioned a quote, poem or other piece of writing from a different author was. The sentences flowed properly and the chapters were all a comfortable reading length.
