The Manifesto for a Cancer Patient takes us step by step of what really happens in and to a cancer patient from the very first steps of diagnosis. In this book, the author proves to possess erudite skills. Colleen Huber provides essence of what patients encounter in career clinics. She also provides diet and exercise plans which they can benefit from. This is what it makes it an interesting read. If you are looking to enhance your knowledge on one of the world’s most feared cause of death.

What I like about this book is that the author arranged the contents of this book in an interesting manner. The author exceptionally laid out the contents in a way that they were feeding on each other. She took me on a journey of cancer patient and nothing was missed. Every nibble was written down. It’s more as if we were in the shoes of a cancer patient. The author further discussed interesting aspects and he contrasted them. She took the leap and explored assessments between cases treated the naturopathic way and with chemotherapy; the result favored naturopathic treatments. She then took us through the journey by highlighting some of the herbs, vitamins, and diets used to fight the progress of the devastating disease. The author then attacks a balance about the use of chemotherapy and contends that it should be the patient's choice.

What I dislike about this book is that there were instances where the author was repeating herself. She was not straightforward in her agenda. Some chapters of the book felt like the author was beating around the bush. This book has lengthy sentences which tends to be boring.

I appreciate this book and I would rate this book a 3 out of 4 stars. The writing style is simple and straightforward. The grammatical errors are minimal therefore one could say that this book is professionally edited and has slight errors. This is an informative book and it is very handful and useful because the author shows us what choices cancer patients have and what role she plays as a naturopathic doctor.

I would recommend this book to cancer patients, medical students, cancer patients, care takers to cancer patients .This book is not only limited to the above mentioned, other readers who are interested can also take part. Cancer is the number one feared and there is no certainty to it.
