When I was little, my dad was usually the one everyone called to fund a solution to help get our light fixed whenever it had issues. Heroes don't fall from the sky; sometimes, it only takes one man to begin the trend of doing the right thing, and that's how Berrah is in this book.

Dr. Berrah Ghoulem was born in Aïn Beïda, beneath the Aurès Mountains in northeastern Algeria. This memoir tells us the story of Berrah and his quest to free Algeria from the shackles of oppression and annexation by France.

A Dream For Peace is a 507-page nonfiction book with 17 chapters by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah. Thanks to the author for using such a unique writing style and, I believe, passion for writing this book. You could feel while reading that the author was pouring out his love for his country while writing this book, and that's one of the things I liked about the book. This review would not contain everything I wanted to say about this book, as there are many.

One of the most beautiful and intriguing things about this book was the concept of culture and tradition. Berrah's father, Hamadi Berrah, got married to his mother after the death of his third wife. His mother, Lalla Zebida, was just a teenager at the time. These types of marriages were allowed during that time, and I'm sure they are still allowed now. The concept of marriage at the time was that it was nothing more than a transaction to secure strong family alliances. The couple's feelings were not taken into consideration in any way. I disagree with the mindset of marriage. Knowing that marriage is sacred for life, it should be with someone we love and not just written off as something transactional.

I disliked nothing about this book, as it was inspirational and educational. I rate this book five out of five stars because it was eye-opening and informative. Furthermore, I found no errors, which means it was exceptionally well-edited. Likewise, I recommend this book to lovers of culture, tradition, and inspirational books.

Something refreshing about this review and book is the concept of marriage and the fact that Berrah could get acquainted with females and even had a good relationship despite his kind of ambition. Nice review.

A man fighting for freedom, either for himself or his people, should emulate the life of Dr. Berrah, as he never gave up in his search for freedom.

Dream for Peace just reading through the name already has outlined what the book is about already. It was fascinating to have come across this review. I will love to read the full book.

Berrah lived a life worthy of emulation. He lived a life of peace, service and sacrifice. His participation in the politics of his country and ensuribg their independence is inspirational.

Our upbringing has a lot to say with how we react to certain issues. Though I haven't read this book I believe that Berrah was influenced by his family's tradition.

The author took the path less travelled and it turned out well for him. He has always been different and he took that as a leverage. I like how he liked an exemplary life by even getting married to another religion.

Dr Ghoulem Berrah is not only an icon, but he is a symbol of peace. In his book, A Deam For Peace, his exploits were recorded. One thing I really admired was how he was an advocate for peace not only in his home country Algeria, but throughout Africa.

The dignitaries mentioned in this book taught me a lot of things. The description of Ghaddafi signified a no-nonsense man with too much charisma to me. Good review.
