Review of Natural Relief for Anxiety and Stress
Have you ever suffered from stress and anxiety? Don't get worried about it. I don't know anyone that has not experienced stress and anxiety. It is completely normal and part of being human. It is difficult not to be anxious during these present times, especially if you have a demanding job. Stress levels vary from person to person. Some people get rid of their anxiety easily and calm down. Other people have difficulty controlling it. Taking pills to manage anxiety is not the best option because the effects are only temporary. Dr. Gustavo offers different alternatives to treat anxiety and manage stress without having to take tons of medication. These methods include dieting, the use of supplements, meditation, exercise, and therapy. The author talks about topics like cognitive distortions, stress symptom management, natural remedies for anxiety and stress, medication effects on anxiety patients, and lots more.
I found the appendix of the book very comprehensive. I liked the way the author attempts to simplify difficult terms so the reader can get the most out of the book. Even the practical steps recommended in the book are realistic and can be done in the comfort of your home.
Apart from the overuse of medical jargon used in some parts of the book, there's nothing not to like. The part where the author discussed nutrients and the type of prescriptions given to patients suffering from anxiety was confusing to me. I have no experience in the medical field, and I found those parts of the book boring and repetitive.
I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. I found the natural remedies for stress management very helpful, and I discovered new ways to improve my lifestyle. Even the diet guide included in the book was superb. Although some parts of the book were filled with medical jargon, I still enjoyed reading the book. The book was professionally edited, and I found only a few errors in it. The author did a great job of showing readers easy, practical steps to get rid of their anxiety and manage stress. This book is beginner-friendly; you can understand the terms and methods used in the book even if you have no previous knowledge of them.
If you want to learn how to handle stress and anxiety and not suffer the symptoms anymore, then Natural Relief for Anxiety and Stress by Gustavo Kinrys, M.D. is the best book for you. I recommend the book to young people and older people dealing with stress and anxiety.
