I loved the sample I read. Definitely a book for me. I am grateful for the brief but informative review. Well done to cover enough about the book to inform and inspire readers. I rate the review 4 out of 4. I am not sure about the editing because I was stopped by a couple of words which seemed to be in the wrong context. For example the word revelry was used instead of reverie. He was thinking and I couldn't understand why the word revelry had been used. And did the review tell us about a sad ending? It might put readers off. Thanks to the author for an interesting sci-fi read. And thanks for BOTD selecting this book.

I find the idea of parallel universe is always interesting. This review also convinced me to read the whole story. Nice review.

The city of Paradise experiencing the very same problems we face in our world today sounds like a such a beautiful proposal. I was drawn to a situation where the android nanny is missed by the family, despite our belief that they are just machines.

It sounds concerning when AI Alfred and Android Nan are more attentive and tender than the humans in this book. Emotional intelligence of AI has tremendously escalated, and would it be advantageous or concerning? This book seems intriguing. Congratulations to the author on BOTD!

This sounds like a rather intriguing sci-fi novel, that may look like a depiction of a dystopian world full of AIs, but it’s actually something that could really happen in the near future. Great review, I really appreciate the honesty!

This book may not necessarily be sharing any new idea, but it is written as a parallel universe to ours however it is more relatable than opposite. I like that the android seems more humane than we could have imagined and that fact may end up saving the day. Congrats on the BOTD!

Interesting book. I don't understand quite yet what kind of story this book had, but I'm curious about it. Maybe I'll give it a read. Thanks for the review.

This sounds very exciting indeed! AI that can bond with humanity, set in a parallel universe to ours, and the concept that the American Dream is just a dream. It really does make you wonder why this theme keeps repeating itself...
Excellent job on this review! It gives a nice thorough overview of the book without being too revealing. It's very straight forward and easy for any reader to understand.

Somewhat confusing. Somewhat misleading. Somewhat riveting. Yet somewhat possible in the not so distant future. Try to keep an open mind when it comes to this kind of theme..

Anastasia Baglay gave What Do You Think, Mr. Collins by Neal Bialostosky a good review and a rating of 5 out of 5 Stars.

Anastasia noted that the book is about a parallel universe which is much like our world. The problems are the same and people go on living their lives in the same fashion as us. However it is notable that the AI characters have more empathy than the humans. This book has a fascinating story with satire and tragedy.

I am fascinated by how the world described in the book is in a parallel universe similar to the real world. I am intrigued by the problems the city of Paradise are facing such as corrupt social media, the Asian mafia, androids, and terrorist attacks. I am interested in learning about Evelyn's relationship with her android nanny and how she would cope once she loses the android.
