“Niching up” is all about business from startups to escalating the already existing ones. It highlights the fundamentals of growth models and how to dive and thrive in an already competitive market. It gives a birds-eye view of the plethora of success mantras on the internet.

I picked this book up with a curious mindset towards the title “Niching up”. The book didn’t upset me and the author has done an excellent job giving out the precise meaning of niching up as well as its applications in the current market scenarios. I enjoyed reading and gained some new dimensions towards the same.

The author here has successfully explained the A, B, Cs for those who dare to venture into the business world. One can easily relate to the everyday life scenarios that the author has used to break down the complex-looking equations. This also kept me glued to the book right to the end of it. There is a smooth flow of ideas and experiences from the author’s personal perspective. The language of the book is very simple to understand and follow.

Though most of the examples quoted by the author are relatable, I did have difficulty understanding some legal and business terminologies and their related examples.

All in all, the book doesn’t disappoint the reader. I would personally recommend this book for courageous minds ready to dive into the market. For those who already hold a ground in these fields, this book might look like a revision of the basics. Considering the language, the style of the author, and the breaking down of information and examples, I rate the book a 3 out of 5.
