"E M P Honeymoon" by Dorothy May Mercer thrusts readers into a suspenseful narrative as Mike receives a mysterious phone call from his sister, Kelly, who is on her honeymoon with Tom. The urgency in Kelly's voice signals trouble, prompting Mike to leap into action to ensure her safety. As the story unfolds, secrets emerge, and Kelly and Tom find themselves embroiled in a dangerous situation that threatens to unravel their idyllic honeymoon.

The novel opens with Kelly's desperate call for help, immediately gripping readers' attention with its sense of urgency. While this approach effectively hooks the reader, some may find the lack of buildup to the danger detracts from the suspense. Additionally, the ambiguity surrounding Kelly's location during the call leaves room for confusion, requiring readers to read between the lines to discern the setting. The book font and book cover were nice. The table of contents made it easier for me to navigate through the book without stress. The character's development was good.

One aspect of the plot that may strain credibility is Kelly's decision to book an unusually cheap hotel room for the honeymoon solely based on affordability. While it is conceivable, some readers may find it difficult to suspend disbelief, questioning why Kelly would not be more cautious about the bargain price. However, the palpable chemistry between Kelly and Tom adds depth to their relationship, enriching the romantic subplot of the novel. I found no errors in this book. This book was well edited. I must commend the author for her effort in publishing this book.

"E M P Honeymoon" earns a rating of 4 out of 5 stars, with the romantic subplot enhancing the reading experience. Despite the shortcomings in the main plot, the well-executed love scenes and proficient proofreading contribute to its appeal. Readers who enjoy romance intertwined with suspense may find this novel particularly engaging. This will be a fun read for those in the above categories.

EMP Honeymoon sounds like a good thriller novel to read. I'll like to read how their honeymoon is disrupted and how they used their skills to fight terrorism.

As a prospective reader, "E M P Honeymoon" by Dorothy May Mercer sounds like an intriguing blend of suspense and romance, with a gripping opening that sets the stage for a dangerous adventure. The reviewer's mention of the urgency in the narrative and the palpable chemistry between the characters piques my interest, although the critique regarding the lack of buildup to the danger and the credibility of certain plot elements gives me pause. However, the commendation of the book's editing and romantic subplot is reassuring, making me inclined to give it a chance. Overall, I'm intrigued by the premise and eager to experience the mix of suspense and romance within the story.
