Definitely wouldn't expect a story like that from the title and cover! I love a good story with murder and family drama. Not sure I would like the bittersweet ending, but it all depends on how it's done, I guess. Thanks for your review!

Wow, this book does sound like it is packed with many surprises.
The title sounds pretty much straightforward, dealing with grapes.
I guess this is a matter of not judging a book by its title.
The character Jace is complex alone and rather in-depth. One may at first glance believe that having a family own a vineyard is a blessing, but this book reflects that this is not always the case, and there are clearly human complexities involved that impact self-worth and inner peace and happiness.
The drama overall sounds absorbing!
Congratulations to the author, and I do hope David Jackson has taken the recommendations about the possibility of concluding this plotline with a sequel.

Every book has its charm and character. I will like to read this story about Jace and the Grazer family. The title and the cover page of this book are impactful, just as your review is.

Based on your review, this sounds like a book that I would enjoy reading. Like you, I would not have guessed that the story contains so much drama based on the title and cover alone. I appreciate your engaging and well-written review!

This book feels like a classic soap opera family series, filled with secrets and familial dynamics that lay the foundation for a compelling story. I appreciate the direction the plot seems to be taking, and your review has convinced me that this book is an engaging read. I agree that it offers more depth and variety than the cover picture and title suggest. I'm eager to dive into the comedy, mystery, romance, and even the elements of murder. Thank you for your insightful review!

I am not a big fn of any romance included in books and especially not adult content. This is probably not the book for me. Thanks!

Thanks for your review. When I read the title, I had your same impression. Thanks to your review, I understand there is much more than that. It is a more complex and fascinating book.

Thanks for the descriptive review. Though I wish more was explained regarding how the beginning was focused on describing the background of the story; as in, would it affect the ability of an average reader to continue the story. But I also love how it's pointed out the story is more than the grapes in the cover, which I think would have initially deterred a potential reader of this book.

Seems rather intriguing. I loved how despite contains many themes the book continues the story. Including many elements in the book sometimes decrease the value of the book. And the review writing style is also quite remarkable. Great work.
