A book that offers a comprehensive guide to the wine production in the Bordeaux region of France. The brief history, while exploring the city, chateaux, restaurants, and lodging highlights might interest many who wish to familiarize themselves with the locales. The author also discusses different soils and climates, grape varieties, and tours and tasting experiences at each chateau. Redundancy and grammatical errors are aspects that put me off, too. Appreciate the detailed and honest feedback!

It works well as a travel guide more than a sit-down read!
