When I began reading the book, Praesidium, I had a lot of questions about what was going to happen. What is going on with Kathryn's dad? Where has his sister been and why are they arguing? Why does he leave his family? When the book fast forwards ahead and she gets her job, everything was just answered. I did not feel there was enough suspense and detail leading up to the questions being answered. This book was a very easy read. It was very predictable and the problems in the book were very easily solved. It wasn't very exciting or thought provoking. It wasn't the book you can't put down because of a cliff hanger at the end of the chapter. The team of people solving the crimes or problems didn't seem to encounter any real challenges. It needs more mystery. As soon as the job was offered to Kathryn you knew what it was. As soon as Jaclyn was introduced you new it was Kathryn's aunt. When Kathryn had issues with her boyfriend, he is hired to work with the team. I felt like it lacked detail in situations. There wasn't a lot of details that helped the reader picture what was happening or leading up to problem solving.
