Adele and her parents were to move into their new home. Little Adele was very anxious and uncertain about it. The period of suspense dissolves into pure bliss upon witnessing the beautiful home. After exploring every part of the house, the backyard mesmerizes Adele. She was delighted by her find—an old gnome statue. Little did she know that she would soon commence a beautiful journey to restore the old glory of the once-alluring garden that had faded owing to the pollution and utter disregard of the fast-paced humans.

Little Adele realized that restoring the garden wasn't going to be easy. She was determined and eager to educate herself. Armed with a deep understanding of nature, assistance from the gnome and the other guardians, and lots of time, patience, and effort, she begins work to restore the faded garden. I suggest you grab a copy of Adele and the Whispering Garden by Polly Richards to join Adele's magical journey.

The author initiates the discussion by explaining the need for caring for nature and highlights the reasons that caused it to fade away. She provides factual information about how nature nurtures human survival and makes the earth a better place to live by feeding, healing, or lending tranquility to our surroundings.

She provides information about sustainable gardening practices, pollination experts, the importance of healthy soil, and valuable organic waste, and progresses to explain the various stages of composting in detail. I appreciate that the author maintains simple and easy-to-grasp language and fun characters that will appeal to a young audience.

The author succeeds in tickling curiosity in the little minds about how giving nature is, sensitizing them toward sustainable living, and encouraging them to treasure and nurture the precious gift of nature. The book concludes by highlighting the essence of the book and the various stages of composting. This format facilitates easy access to the crux—the educational aspect. The progressively increasing splashes of life and color beautifully complement the storyline and assist in maintaining the interest and attention of the young audiences.

The editing is commendable, as I could spot just one minor inconsistency. I do not have any negative comments about the book. The author skillfully highlights environmental concerns and encourages uncomplicated and environment-friendly gardening practices. I wholeheartedly rate this well-structured, informative, and entertaining book five out of five stars and recommend it to readers interested in gardening. This book will be a great addition to school and home libraries.

At the beginning,I thought this book is of the fantasy/young adult fiction genre, but as I read further it piqued my interest as I've recently started gardening. I can clearly see this book would nurture that hobby. What a unique way to combine the two aspects and educate the audience about gardening, environment and sustainability. Wonderful review!
