Minimum Wage Millionaire by Eckhart Aurelius Hughes is an ingenious financial guide that helps readers achieve their dream of becoming millionaires. As the book's title suggests, even an individual earning only minimum wage and having no savings can become a millionaire. This self-help book provides carefully curated financial rules designed to guide the readers towards financial success. If you are looking for a quick scheme to become rich, then this book is not for you. If you are not ready to follow a plan religiously and lack self-discipline, then this book is not for you. But if you really choose to become a millionaire, are ready to be consistent with your plans for the long term, and have strong self-control, then quickly grab this book and be ready to begin your wonderful journey towards change.

The basic idea of the book is that even if you earn only minimum wage, which was $7.25 in the U.S. at the time the book was published, you will become a millionaire easily and retire early by following all the rules without violations. The author further says that a minimum wage earner with no other assets, who diligently follows this plan, will become a millionaire in 20 years. He believes in his plan so much that he is offering the readers a guarantee, the details of which can be found at the end of the book.

The author's infinitely easy-to-follow system contains 17 rules. He begins the rules by stressing the importance of self-discipline and honesty. It is quite true that without self-discipline, one can't achieve anything. Also, he rightly points out that lying only wastes our time and energy. I completely agree with his rules regarding life insurance. His insights about prenuptial agreements are spot on, and I have to say I never thought prenups would actually help sustain a marriage. Debts and loans are one of the foremost reasons that we fall into financial burden, and the author's rules make sure that we escape from them. His guidance on investing and budget-making is detailed and informational. I genuinely appreciate the author highlighting the importance of respecting others, as I feel many people have forgotten this much-needed virtue.

The author explains complex concepts in simple words, making them easily understandable by everybody. This is befitting, as the book is also recommended for young adults. One of my mottos that I believe and follow is that money saved is money earned. I was glad to see the author emphasize this concept in his book. In our fast-paced world, we have forgotten the basic fundamental facts like saving and investing. Many of us live in the moment, not thinking about the future. This book is a wake-up call for us to rethink our financial management and secure our future by acting in the present.

I didn't notice any errors while reading, and I believe that the book is well-edited. There is nothing that I dislike in the book, and I loved everything. So, I gladly rate the book 5 out of 5 stars. After reading the book, I strongly believe that the author's plan is foolproof and would work perfectly if all the rules were followed without any violation. Hence, I recommend this book to everybody who wants to become a millionaire or is simply looking to lead a comfortable financial life. I especially recommend this book to young adults, as it is essential for them to be aware of the rules and follow them before they start their adult lives and plan their finances so that they can prepare themselves to become millionaires. Like the author says, this book is a must-gift to kids and young adults for their bright financial future.

I'm reading this book next. It sounds exactly what I expected to be, and you're right. If people follow the rules, they will become millionaires. Sadly for me, at 56, I can't apply all these rules, but I'm keen to read what they are.
