This non-fiction book defines short and sweet. It’s only 14 pages long, but its message is truly inspirational. And the message is simple: love. Not necessarily love in a romantic sense, but love in a way that encompasses everyone. Love in an unconditional manner. Love to all no matter who they are or what they've done.

This short read covers the idea that, while choosing love can be difficult because it requires work, hate is easy to choose because it's much less work. But love's result and reward are much more powerful. It's a brilliant idea to think about, and the picture is painted in a controversial way that should really help people open their eyes and examine their own feelings on the matter.

I give this book 3 out of 4 stars. Its brevity makes it a quick read, but I did want more. I could have used some more examples or a deeper dive into the whole idea. I easily would have read more on this topic, but it wasn't there. Plus, the very nature of the way the author went about this was controversial. Sure, it grabs a reader’s attention, but I’m not sure if this is the best way to go about this, considering the nature of the topic. The idea of love doesn’t need to be exploited in a controversial manner from the get-go. Of course, the comparisons can be made and the conclusions can be drawn from divisive content, but should it? It can be brought up, but should it be the focus from the beginning? That was a point of contention for me.

But that's okay because the message of the book is so inspiring and meaningful. Everyone should read this. Honestly, it's so important for the world to hear this message and use it in their own lives. It's very well edited and well written too. And, as a vegan, I find this message really well and truly encompassing to the whole world. I hope everyone applies it as such—to all living beings throughout the world. Humans and animals alike.

All in all, I think this book is really wonderful. The topic is crucial, and the message is so important for the world. Love is absolutely necessary, and I found this book so inspiring. I'll definitely take the message and weave it into my own life. It's something I've been aspiring to elevate to, so this book came into my life at just the right time. Thank you.
