(Following is a review for Darklord: Sunset, by: Garon Whited, sci-fi/fantasy.)

I received Darklord: Sunset: Book One of Darklord series, by: Garon Whited from onlinebooks.com for a honest review. The format of the book is a in Kindle format.

I gave this book a 3 out of 4 stars, because it was a good book. I was thrilled to read it, because it was a sci-fi or fantasy type of book. I found myself trying to not to finish the book to fast. I took my time with reading this book, in order to get the feel of it.

I found the main character, Eric ( who also goes by different names) to a strong and an amazing character. The main character, Eric is a Nightlord. A Nightlord is basically a vampire. He drinks blood and the souls of people, but he can also eat regular food. He is also called a wizard, because he uses a lot of his magic to heal people.

I was kind of confused at first because the beginning of the book starts in modern times, but that was quick to change. I love the sort of time travel theme of the book. I found all of the characters to be great. The other characters in the book reminded me more of a fantasy book rather than a sci-fi type of book. For example, there are Elves, Dwarves, Fire Witches, and other characters. In some parts of the book I found that it reminded me of Lord of the Rings. Some of the parts of the book were really gory. It wasn't bad.

I also found while I was reading, that Eric, the main character was able to bond with a lot of other characters. He created a lot friends because the way he is. He has a great personality.

I also found out that Eric will fight for the ones that he loves. For example, there are three women, two have died and one is pregnant with his children. She is having twins.

Eric has to fight against the church, in order to keep himself alive. Of course, according to the church, Eric is evil because he is a Nightlord or a vampire.

This book was well written. I hope that soon I will be able to read the other books in the series. I would defiantly recommend this book. I didn't find any errors in this book. I will defiantly be reading more books by Garon Whited.
