The Nobel Prize is about an author Mois Benarroch who wrote about his personal experiences as an author of several books and how he encounters other authors in different situations such as a hospitalised but successful author and another writer who hasn’t yet published his book but has been diligently been working on his work. We read about his hardships and learn that although the other had a huge collection of books that he had released they did not necessarily have great responses. Although this sounds like an autobiography, it was anything but. It was more storytelling than anything.

Upon completing this book, I can say with great confidence that I am in a high state of confusion. The author however really compelled me to see this book to the very end which I commend him for. I read this with no high expectations. I knew what I would be reading wouldn't exactly be my style of book or anything amazing that I might want to recommend to others but I did still enjoy this book to some extent.

I would've read it in one sitting if I didn't have to go to sleep but did continue to read on the next morning so that's saying something. The book felt very much unfinished not that I wanted anymore out of it but it did feel very incomplete. I feel like there was something I was supposed to get by the end which I didn't.

The author who reincarnates into a different character every day really intrigued me. The events in this book also really confused me. But I admit that the format and the layout of how the writer wrote was very well done, I enjoyed the humour this book provided.

2 out of 4. I give this rating because although this book was enjoyable and it had a good amount of humour which keeps readers intrigued there was a lot of plot that was missing and the order was very inconsistent to me. I felt like although the author understood how to appeal readers there was a lack of ability to make it a super enjoyable book to read. This book would be good for mature readers who personally prefer reading about hardships of authors in the business as there are key features that mature readers may relate to the author in any kind of industry.
