Solaris Seethes ( Solaris saga book 1) was defiantly different from what I’m used to reading. Solaris Seethes is a Science Fiction / Romance Novel that holds your interest from page 1 to the last word. It draws you in with every word. I would suggest this book to everyone I know!!
Solaris Seethes is the story of revenge of Rynah and a spaceship, which has its own personality, Solaris. Making the story that much more interesting.
Rynah walked the halls through work excited that her now fiancé put a diamond on her finger but what she doesn’t know is that her fiancé has a different motive for wanting to marry her. But Rynah finds out that her fiancé, the one she fell in love, the one she gave her heart and soul too is only with her to steal a gem that has great power. The Gem that was stolen caused the world to collapse, killing all its inhabitants. So the only thing Rynah can do is run!She flees the only world she ever knew, the only life she ever knew. But thankfully she has help from friends.
Rynah’s grandfather had built a spaceship with its own personality called Solaris. Solaris turned out to be Rynah’s only way out of this mess. Solaris is a smart, intelligent, fun spaceship that helps Rynah get her revenge against her Ex-Fiancé. Rynah must get all five Gems to create a weapon so big and power it may save their world. Rynah refuses to give up, she is determined to find all five Gems and save her planet. She wont give up and she wont stand down even if its against the one man she loved.
There are two thing I really disliked about this book. One is the main character Rynah doesn’t show enough surprise and excitement in certain parts of the book. I wish she showed more excitement and a better personality. She also had somewhat of a childish personality that just didn’t suit the book and the other main characters. The second thing is that the book was one minute fast paced and wowed your brain and the next minute it slowed down to a crawl. But once you get pasted those two faults you will certainly love the story and the way the author writes.
But other than that, it was a well written book with a great story that kept you wanting more. I can’t wait to read the other books in this series. I just know Janet McNuly will bring on so much more action in the next book in the series!!!
