Ravens Peak is a very exciting and sometimes scary supernatural thriller. From the very first page, it pulled me in and kept me on the edge of my seat. There was never a dull moment during this story and I couldn’t put the book down. I am not much of a supernatural book fan but this one was extremely scary. I kept thinking that if this was a movie, I would jump out of my seat a few times. This was definitely a book I was satisfied with.

The story begins with Arthur who was locked up in a prison. He was part of a demon hunting group and they have come to him because he may be the only person who can save his adopted daughter, Abigail, who is also part of the group. But when he is faced with the most troubling scenario, he does anything he can to save his daughter, even if that means risking his life. But it turns out he is a lot more powerful than the demons realize. With this beginning, it caused me to ask so many questions. Why was he in jail? Who is this group? Why was he the only one that could help? With so many unanswered questions I just had to keep reading.

The story continues with Abigail, trying to figure out what happened to Arthur and fighting off any demons that come in her way. But in this process, she saves the life of a boy named Haatim. At first, he was just a regular boy, but she realizes that he is more important that he thinks. But things start to take a dangerous turn when people start going crazy in a small town of Ravens Peak. Strange things go on throughout this town but it is also hiding a big secret. Abigail comes across something big and dangerous, nothing like anything she has faced before. Now she has to figure out a way to stop the madness before it is too late.

There was never a slow point during this story, it was one plot twist after another. It was a well written book and I enjoyed every second of reading it. In the end, it gives you a little cliff hanger that lures you into the second book. I am definitely going to have to get the rest of the series because I have to know what happens!

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. If you are a fan of thrillers and mysteries I would recommend this book. It is worth the read and something I think a lot of people would enjoy. Very happy to have gotten the chance to read this book.

Raven's Peak is more of a suspense and action filled story than a thriller
