Randy Love is the youngest of three children. His mother passed away when he was still a child. With Randy's older siblings being stable in their professional and personal lifes, he appears to be the odd ball, the black sheep of the family. Randy has a hard time becoming a responsible, mature adult. His love for women and parties seem to win every time. Added that he is charming, attractive and blonde. This seems to be a recipe for disaster. Plural actually. Disasters and awkward situations follow Randy on a daily basis.

Will Randy fulfill his fathers' wish to finish college? Will he learn some responsibility?

Personally, I did not enjoy reading this book. Randy Love...at your service, was not at all what I expected it to be. The book lacked several things, there was nothing to keep me motivated to continue reading. There was no interesting story line to follow, no climax and I felt that it also lacked character. The book seems to only follow the daily events happening in someone's life, without any real meaning to it. I had a really hard time finishing this book.

Randys' personality did not help much either. He comes across as being a very selfish, arrogant and obnoxious man. The way he talks about having sex with different women, put me off completely. There was nothing about this character that made me feel like he could be a nice person.

However, the author does in fact have a very good writing style, there were absolutely no spelling, grammar or punctuation errors. The dialogues between characters seemed realistic and real. The author has a vivid imagination and managed to describe the events and characters in a way that brought some form of life to the story. I can not say that the entire book was bad, as I do believe in giving the author credit where it is due.

I rate this book 1 out of 4 stars. The story itself was extremely boring, it had no punchline, no excitement and absolutely no character. The star allocated to this book is based on the authors' writing style and the effort and time invested into writing this book.

If you are looking for a book that has some humor, romance, steamy bedroom scenes and no seriousness to it, then Randy Love...at your service, written by Shay Carter, is the book to read.
