Escape
By Belle Ami

The book Escape is about finding love in an unexpected place, such as a war zone. Harvard Student Layla Rose Wallace and her Saudi boyfriend are kidnapped while on vacation in Dubai and transported to Iran.Being the daughter of a renowned nuclear physicist this day was bound to come, where she would become a prime target for blackmail.

Cyrus Hassani who is handsome and charming yet deadly, is in fact a Mossad agent under cover. His orders were redirected to get Layla out of Iran by any means possible and if he were to fail… Kill her.
Layla’s current predicament threatens to create an international incident which could blow Cyrus’s cover. Layla a free spirited individual has no idea what her presence does to Cyrus. Cyrus is now faced with the struggles of an internal battle with his desires and the battle to keep Layla out of arms way.
What was supposed to be an exciting adventure turned into something else, will they be able to escape Iran alive and in time let’s see.

I like that the book had a mixture of adventure, romance and action. The authors description of the sites visited were amazing. It had just the right amount of each although who doesn’t want more sex scenes in their book. I liked that the book wasn’t mainly about war as the Middle East is well known for. However, I liked most that it gives you an insight as to how an organization cell would operate; where great care and precision is taken in the transferring of information. I least liked how willing people are to join a cause they might not even believe in once there is enough monetary value attached. I wonder if there is a part two this book.

I must say I cannot find anything to dislike about this book. At first I thought the book was going to be all about war, and some terrible rape scenes, so I was like oh God I chose the wrong book. Then I discovered that it wasn’t about war which was great. I did not locate any errors while reading.

I rate this book a 4 out of 4 stars. I believe that it deserves 4 stars because it was captivating and you could just not wait to see what the ending would be like. I must say the ending was awesome. This book is definitely for someone who is into romance novels. I recommend they give it a shot. It was a great read.
