Belle Ami’s escape novel is the first book of her new series the tip of the spear which is a finalist of the Rone award. The fictional book comes up from Belle’s amazing imagination, which is the combination of the genre thriller and romance made the book more exciting to read.
Escape is the story with interesting characters in a rebellious situation where love, life and death occur. Layla Wallace a student from Harvard University was abducted with her boyfriend during their vacation in Dubai. Layla was sent and imprisoned in Tehran which they believe they will used her as a key to force her father an American top physicist to work for them in accordance to the nuclear development aspect. Fortunately Layla’s father is a friend of Israel’s Prime Minister who sent Cyrus a spy of a deputy who belongs to Iran’s secretive Intel organization which has role in protecting Nuclear Development Program. Cyrus a cold heart man, a well trained killer found himself falling in love to his subject Layla.
The book escape is unpredictable story, how Cyrus a cold man attracted to the victim Layla makes the reader think of what kind of woman Layla is. With the struggle they’ve been through I commend how Cyrus does his jobs in protecting the girl. In Layla’s character reader might think how she copes up with the days she had with this called no soul man. So it’s good when you start to think how and why’s and the story got all the answer.
The best part of it for me is how these two characters with huge different personality drawn towards each other. Layla a woman who is in relationship and Cyrus a cold secret agent falls into love I think this is called destiny. I mean in reality it works, it shows that not all lovers exist in this world made their relationship good just because they are with the same traits. Sometimes time makes everything perfect and all you need is to wait for it. Just how time made them desire each other despite of differences. And one thing is that it proves that love comes anywhere, everywhere just heart feels it.
I highly recommend this book beginning teenagers to adults because this story composed of lot of sexy scenes and I do believe adolescence can handle these kinds of outlooks. And children for me this is not suit well for them for they need more parental guidance. Well also for the people who are fond of reading thriller, action and sexy romance this is all you need to read.
I score this book 3 out of 4 because of some minor errors I think. It’s good from the characters are made to their roles such amazing but I guess this kind of story is common from the books that I had already read. The setting of the story is a sole because countries are rarely used by other authors but sometimes it’s kind of difficult to imagine. The theme is of course thumbs up the thriller side of it is well combined with the romance genre. I did not gave perfect score because I had also encountered a lot of native languages used which is not translated in English like “ Kheili khosh amadid” which I think makes the reader can’t understand completely the story. It’s good that they focused also on the process of nuclear technologies and of course it is science base term but I think common reader can hard to understand such terms. I need more time to go search the internet for that.
