From the first sentence, The Bonding by Imogen Keeper, catches and grips your attention. The Sci-fi erotic romance about two lovers drawn together by a bond is worth the read. It is a page turner and you will finish it in one night and want more. A story set in an alien universe about a princess and queen-designate, Nissa, and a warrior, Tam. Their love is steamy and heart wrenching. The two meet by a twist of fate after Nissa is sent into outer space after her planet becomes hostile and dangerous. She is found by a sexy warrior Tam and you are sent on a journey with these two as you follow their steamy love story.

Imogen Keeper knows how to write well as a reader is instantly attached to the main characters. This story is filled with twists. The sex scenes are well written and really hot. So I advise that you read this one when you are alone. My favorite part about the book was the plot and story. It was interesting and gripping which is very important in a book. I finished it within one day and wanted more. I’m definitely going to read the next book in this amazing series.

The one thing that I didn’t like was that in the middle of the book, all of a sudden, the grammar just went bad within their speech. Words such as “will” and “I’m” just disappeared however it was for a few sentences.

I would rate this book 3 out of 4 stars. I'm not giving it 4 stars because of the grammar mistakes in the middle. It does mess up the reading mood when you get to the middle of a good book and a few simple important words are missing, other than that the book is excellent.

This book, in fact the entire series, is a must read for lovers of sci-fi romance and erotica. This alien love story will have you crying and smiling and laughing the whole time you are reading. I suggest this book to anyone who wants to try something new as well. You will be hooked and might even gain a new favorite genre of book. This book is definitely not for younger readers, as along with the explicit sex scenes, there is a repeated use of the F-bomb. Anyone over 18, has a love for romance, sci-fi/erotica, The Bonding, is a must read for you.
